Receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist, the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ, is one of the holiest occasions in our lives. Children are normally prepared to receive their First Holy Communion when they’re seven or eight years of age after having celebrated the sacrament of Reconciliation.
First Holy Communions are usually held in June every year. If your child does not attend Catholic School and is in school year 3, please contact the Parish Priest for details of preparation sessions. Adults are prepared through catechesis within the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
Please contact the Parish Priest to learn more.
